Interlibrary loan services are available to all Vernon Area Public Library District cardholders. Through interlibrary loan you have access to books, audiovisual materials and magazine articles that are not owned by VAPLD. VAPLD cardholders may request specific titles that staff will locate at other libraries and have sent here for your use.

• It takes one to two weeks to receive an item that has been requested through interlibrary loan.
• You will be contacted when the item becomes available.
• Many libraries charge the borrower for interlibrary loan items. If the item cannot be obtained at no cost, you will be contacted before proceeding. Any charges must be paid before the request is submitted.
• You may have up to 5 requests in process at any time.

Please check the VAPLD catalog before requesting an item from another library.
