Applying for a library card only takes a few minutes. You may apply online or in person at the Patron Services Desk.

• Show picture identification with current district address
• Children under the age of 16 must have a parent or legal guardian apply for a card in their name. The child must be present to receive a card.

• Show current tax bill and photo identification
• Businesses and organizations must present proof that the business or organization is located within the Vernon Area Public Library District
• Temporary residents must present proof that they are living in the Vernon Area Public Library District for 30 days or longer

• Show library card and picture identification with current address
