The Vernon Area Public Library District invites interested and qualified individuals to apply for open positions at the library. Applications will be accepted for the listed positions until the posted date or until the position is filled.
The selection of all employees is based upon their qualifications for the position for which they are applying. These qualifications include but are not limited to education, work experience, personality, and the physical ability to perform the work required by the specific position for which they are applying. The library does not discriminate on the basis of race, citizenship, ethnic origin, religious or political beliefs, age, sex, or sexual orientation.
To Apply
Submit a completed Employment Application form, along with a resume, cover letter, and any other required documents to the individual named in the position announcement. Complete application packets may be sent by email to the address indicated in the job posting, by fax to 847-634-8449, by mail to 300 Olde Half Day Rd, Lincolnshire, IL 60069, or dropped off at the Patron Services Desk in the library.
Applications and resumes will be retained by the library for 90 days from the day of submittal. Applications and resumes are accepted for posted positions only.
